Cause Collaborative is an annual event that serves to connect nonprofit and social enterprise professionals with industry experts for a day of interactive conversations and advice sharing.

8:00 am: Registration and breakfast, compliments of Cafe Brioso

9:00 am: It’s Not You, It’s Me — Understanding the National Stage opening keynote discussion with Ruby Lopez Harper, Director of Americans for the Arts.

10:15 am: So, Now That You’re on a Nonprofit Board plenary workshop with consultant, Christie Vargo (session sponsored by United Way of Central Ohio

11:30 am: Breakout Sessions: Choose between two interactive breakout sessions just before we break for lunch at 12:30pm.

1. Building Leaders from Where You Are with Jamison Pack, Chief Marketing Officer of the Ohio History Connection.

2. Grow Your Fundraising Panel Discussion with panelists: Mark Cardwell, founder of READY LLC, Julie Harrison, Development Coordinator with theWexner Center for the Arts, and Diane Cattran, Grant writer at DC Grant Consulting, LLC

1:30 pm: A Better World — Growing In Diversity, Inclusion, and Equity afternoon keynote with James A. White, President and CEO ofPerformance Consulting Services and Dan Houston, Leadership Coach, Diversity Trainer, and President of the 1750 Group Inc. 

3:00 pm: Strategies for Success closing keynote with Dr. Melanie Corn, President of Columbus College of Art & Design - CCAD.

4:15 pm: Happy Hour!
First drink is on us! Stick around for happy hour as we kick our collaboration into high gear. We are welcoming staff members from United Way of Central Ohio to mingle, answer questions, and maybe even help fill some gaps on your nonprofit’s board.
