Gil Cloyd, a Cleveland Ohio native who attended The Ohio State University, started consulting for Procter & Gamble in 1972. In 2000 he assumed the position of Chief Technology Officer, which he gained functional responsibility of 9,000employees over 28 technical centers. Over his CTO career he gained the company a 2% growth in annual organic sales, and R&D innovation productivity increase 100%.
Cloyd was named Industry Week's Tech Leader of the Year in 2004. Cloyd is also co-founder and CEO of the Ohio Film Group and Lengi Studios, both located here in Columbus.
