Creative Events Round-Up: May

Say goodbye to your weeknight Netflix marathons— the nights are brighter and longer, there are endless events to choose from and warm weather is here to stay. We found it especially tough this month to highlight only a few of the many awesome happenings in our creative community throughout the month of May. Don't stop here though, make sure you browse our entire creative events calendar (or you might just miss out on something amazing).

Columbus Startup Week

May 8-12 at Vue Columbus

Endless energy, expertise and passion for ideas and our community— experience it all five days in a row (for free!?!) at the third annual Columbus Startup Week. Starting at 8:00 am, local experts will lead talks centered around starting your own business and finding entrepreneurial success. Located in the Brewery District, Vue Columbus will serve as the Startup Week "basecamp" for the second year in a row.

If you are a creative who has been toying with the idea of going out on your own, this is a rare opportunity to enter "startup bootcamp" for free, and truly understand what it would take to establish your own business as a full time freelancer.
